Meeting Minutes for LG Business Team - October 25

1. Introductions and Greetings
• Team welcomed new members Germán and Alex.
• Brief introductions of roles within Liberated Grounds, including leadership and vision for the community.
2. Website Development Plans
• Hermann agreed to lead website development, assisted by Alex. They will collaborate to outline a plan for the website’s structure and design, ensuring it supports LG’s mission of community building and storytelling.
• Myself Embodied promised to share documents regarding LG’s structure, goals, and plans for future website integration.
3. Land Acquisition and Community Building
• Myself Embodied shared details of two potential land plots (8 and 11 acres) near Nashville, with a budget of $100,000. The focus is to establish an intentional community and build the first earthship.
• Plans for engaging the local community through art installations and possibly setting up a temporary urban earthship were discussed.
4. Production Team Formation and Grant Projects
• Jordan and John Joe will form a production team to manage seven projects that need to be executed by June 2024, focusing on storytelling and community engagement.
• Alex offered support for digital content creation, event management, and developing revenue-generating services for the community.
• Discussion around telling the behind-the-scenes stories of the funded projects, ensuring transparency and connection with community stakeholders.
5. Volunteer Roles and Community Service
• The team discussed the importance of grassroots leadership, with all members encouraged to step up and serve with their skills and talents.
• Jordan will research a social media manager to handle LG’s online presence, while John Joe focuses on building the production team.
• The team discussed creating a call to action on the website to engage community members and potential supporters for the land acquisition and future projects.
